Henrik's new improved stack

(Sunday, 30 October 2005 at 9:33 pm)

Play resumes and we have the first elimination straight after!

Mick O'Sullivan makes it 30,000 to play UTG+2. Henrik makes a big raise and, after a minute's deliberation, Mick moves all-in. Henrik quickly calls having him covered and turns over JJ.

The flop comes down 2J2 to give Henrik an all but unbeatable full house. The running aces Mick needs do not materialise and we are down to 7 players.

(Sunday, 30 October 2005 at 9:02 pm)

No action for the next few hands then Henrik opens for 20,000 in MP

David Pomroy calls in the big blind and Jim Reid passes in the big blind.

The flop comes down 5, Q, 8 and David checks the the raiser. Henrik bets out 40,000 and David doesn't take too long to pass.

(Sunday, 30 October 2005 at 8:56 pm)

Action on the first hand

The blinds are back down to 4/8000 with a 800 running ante.

We are playing hour levels

Michael Greco in seat three is on the button. Henrik Orland raises under the gun to 24,000 and it's passed round to Joe Rafferty in the big blind. Joe ponders and raises 68,000. Henrik passes and Joe takes down the first pot, adding over 30,000 to his chip lead.
